POURING (2008-2012)
This body of work evokes abstracted landscape memories through areas of lustrous color bands that hazily meld into one another giving the paintings an atmospheric depth. My painting process involves pouring acrylic and layering color in subtle translucent ways. I collaborate with the flowing paint and harness its natural movements to create elusive minimalist compositions.
